About
Think about your most pleasant buying experience. You probably enjoyed it because you were well informed about the product, and felt comfortable that you were getting what you paid for. The problem with home building is that it’s possibly the most complicated purchase you will make, and it is susceptible to the mistakes of a lot of players.
The reason Guichay Building, LLC clients remain satisfied customers is not because we try harder or work longer (we do). It’s because we know more about the home building process than our competitors, and we have a planning process that eliminates or has contingency for any obstacles we may encounter.
Ricardo Guichay – In 1988 at 22 years of age having studied architecture in his native Ecuador, Ricardo Guichay came to the United States to find a better life and to make enough money to support his growing family. He soon discovered that this was not going to be easy as he labored in jobs ranging from cleaning motel rooms to raking leaves. As luck would have it, a friend recommended Ricardo to a mason in Montauk and he was hired as a laborer. He spent valuable hours learning the mason’s trade and he was eventually promoted to a management position.
Guichay Building has grown from its modest beginnings to a full service construction company with 4 full time crews in the field, an impressive fleet of construction vehicles and a reputation for excellence, honesty and fair practices that can field any project from excavation through trim work and every step in between.
